Ranked play
How do ELO and divisions work?
Everyone starts at an ELO of 100 in Bronze III. Winning ranked games raises your ELO and losing lowers it. As your ELO climbs you move up through five tiers:
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
- Diamond
Each tier has three divisions, from III (lowest) to II to I (highest). Reach Bronze I, and the next step up is Silver III.
Why do ranked boards never need guessing?
Every ranked board is checked before it is used to make sure it can be solved by logic alone. You'll never lose a ranked game to a 50/50 guess.
Game modes
How does the Daily puzzle work?
Everyone gets the same board each day. It resets at midnight in your local time. Only your first attempt counts on the Daily leaderboard, so make it count.
What is Infinite mode?
Infinite is an endless board split into 10×10 areas. Hitting a mine doesn't end your game. Instead, it locks that area for a short countdown while you keep sweeping elsewhere.
What is Territory mode?
In Territory you race against bots to claim tiles on the board. Hitting a mine freezes you for a moment, giving the bots a chance to catch up.
Your profile
How do I change my name, avatar, or country?
Open the Profile tab. Display names must be unique and are filtered for offensive words. Country is optional; if you don't pick one, your profile shows Earth.
How do I report a player?
Tap their row on a leaderboard, choose View profile, then tap Report. Reported names can be reset by the developer, and a name that gets 3 reports is reset automatically.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Delete my online account. This permanently deletes your online account and everything linked to it on our server. Data saved on your phone stays until you delete the app. You can also email us to request deletion.
